(plant, chair, dehumidifier, hose)

Can a dehumidifier drain enough moisture form the air to keep a plant alive? That is the question that forms the starting point for this work.

The dehumidifier drains moisture from the air and feeds this directly into the plant. How much mositure is produced will vary depending on weather conditions, time of year and geography. As such it cannot be determined in advance whether the plant will receive sufficent sustenance to stay alive.
